Community is perhaps the most important resource that writers can connect with to gain support for their writing, help promoting their finished work for sales, and also pass on to others the information and knowledge they have obtained during their careers. We hope you will take advantage of these local community options in order to enhance your writing life and that of others.

As always, let us know if you discover something we have overlooked that you believe we should share, or to let us know if you feel something is missing that would help you and others. Meanwhile – keep on writing!

  1. Hello. I am searching for a writers group in the Spokane/north Idaho area. I have completed a first draft of a fiction novel and am neck deep in revision. Are there any groups that meet regularly that would welcome another writing member?

    Many thanks,

    Carol Lindsay

    1. Hello, Carol! I am Linda Bond… the creator of this website and leader of the Inland Northwest Writers Guild. We meet via zoom and have folks who join us for the presentations or open discussions we hold. In addition, we host the Local Authors Book Club which features local authors (and some from across country) to talk about their new books, writing process and related info. I have your email address here and will write to you from the email I use for the Guild (and here): lindathewriter@gmail.com.

I have a couple of questions for you about your writing journey and what you mean by “writers group” as it can mean different things to each of us. Please watch for your email for a contact from me…

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment!

      Linda
