Author Michelle Cox to Visit with INWG

The Inland Northwest Writers Guild (INWG) will host a visit on zoom with celebrated author Michelle Cox on April 19th at 7 pm. Her topic of discussion will be:

From Writer to Author-Publisher — Tips & Pitfalls

Michelle Cox is the award-winning author of the Henrietta and Inspector Howard series (historical mystery/romance), The Merriweather Series (historical fiction/Jane Austen retellings), and a stand-alone novel, The Fallen Woman’s Daughter.

She published her mystery series with a hybrid press – She Writes Press – before venturing into the world of self-publishing. She has won over 100 international awards and has garnered starred reviews from Library Journal and Booklist as well as praise from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Popsugar, Buzzfeed, Redbook, Elle, Brit&Co., Bustle, Historical Novel Society, Working Mother, and many others.

The author will discuss her various paths to publishing and will share tips as well as pitfalls to avoid on the publishing/marketing journey.
