Local Authors Book Club presents “Meet the Author – Michelle Cox”

Michelle Cox is the award-winning author of the Henrietta and Inspector Howard series (historical mystery/romance), The Merriweather Series (historical fiction/Jane Austen retellings), and a stand-alone novel, The Fallen Woman’s Daughter, which she will discuss during the Local Authors BC zoom event on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 2 pm Pacific time.

Michelle has won over 100 international awards and has garnered starred reviews from Library Journal and Booklist as well as praise from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Popsugar, Buzzfeed, Redbook, Elle, Brit&Co., Bustle, Historical Novel Society, Working Mother, and many others.

She published her mystery series with a hybrid press – She Writes Press – before venturing into the world of self-publishing. She has won over 100 international awards and has garnered starred reviews from Library Journal and Booklist as well as praise from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Popsugar, Buzzfeed, Redbook, Elle, Brit&Co., Bustle, Historical Novel Society, Working Mother, and many others.

The author will discuss her various paths to publishing and will share tips as well as pitfalls to avoid on the publishing/marketing journey.
