INWG to Hold Book Launch for Author Gail Bergan

Local author Gail Bergan is set to launch her new memoir tonight (9-17-25), to be hosted by the Inland Northwest Writers Guild. Bergan moved to Spokane (WA) about a year ago after living in Texas, where a large portion of her memoir takes place. This revealing look at the author’s personal turmoil will hold special meaning for others who have experienced emotionally abusive relationships. They will also appreciate knowing they are not alone.

The launch of Art and Artifice will be held via Zoom. The virtual event will begin at 7 pm PT (10 pm ET). You may request the link by writing to lindathewriter@gmail.com (no later than 5 pm Pac time please).

Local Group to host author Kerry Schafer

At 2 pm Pacific Time today, members of the newly re-named First Wednesday Group will get a chance to meet with author Kerry Schafer (Kerry Anne King) to hear about her writing history and newest book release – Party Planning Can Be Murder! This is the first novel in her new A Party Planner Mystery series, so now’s your chance to get in on the very beginning!

Members of the general public, Kerry’s fans, readers and writers are all invited to attend. It will require a zoom link, so please request this before 1 pm today.

The event will also be recorded and later shared on YouTube. For further information, contact Linda Bond at lindathewriter@gmail.com.
