Author Colin Conway to present “Building Your Brand” at INWG – June 19, 2024

Regional author Colin Conway will share his presentation – Building Your Brand – for writers at the INWG zoom meeting 6-19-24, at 7 pm. This event requires a link to participate, but otherwise it is free. You may request the link by contacting Linda at lindathewriter@gmail.com before noon on the 19th.

Whether you are a beginning writer or one who has self-published your work, or perhaps have published through a more traditional approach – e.g. with a publishing house – you are invited to take part in this instruction session with Colin. He is, himself, a successful author, with numerous books in at least 5 different series, and can share his experience with you to help save time and effort in your own planning. In other words, he knows his stuff!

As a writer, it is important for your audience to be able to find you by recognizing your “Brand” amongst the millions of others in the marketplace. Even before you publish your first book, it’s time to start the work on your branding. But it’s never too late to make your current brand status even better. Colin will help you recognize the most important ingredients to focus on, and how to avoid the mistakes that can make your branding efforts more difficult in the future.

Join us this Wednesday for a fun and inspiring look at the importance of Building Your Brand with Colin Conway! Did I mention it’s free!?! See you soon – Linda

Featured Author of the Week Chosen by INWG

INWG has chosen the new “Featured Author of the Week” – Joan M. Kop is a long-time member and supporter of the Guild, a memoirist and autobiographical writer, as well as a poet.

Joan has been a contributing member of the Guild for many years, and our meetings have benefitted greatly from her timely and thoughtful input. She is another writer who has reminded us that we can support each other in our work and still try to outsell everyone else. Joan is a poet, wrote a book about her ancestor – The Freedom Chaser – and is about to re-release her memoir – Spies, Lies & Psychosis. Joan also shares her thoughts with readers through her newsletter.

Visit her website here for more information, and keep an eye out for further news of her book release.
